Amanda Kanzelberger: Owner/Artist Director

Amanda has been a choreographer and dance educator for the past 22 years in the Plymouth area.  Her upbeat creative energetic style is truly unique.  She is dedicated to teaching children the love of dance with discipline and care, to help the youth today to become better people and skilled dancers.  Dance has been her passion her whole life and she feels lucky to be able to share it with all of her students.  

Amanda is a certified member of Dance Masters of Wisconsin, Chicago National Association of Dance Masters, Wisconsin Dance Council, and the International Tap Association.  She looks forward to continue her education with Dance Educators of America.

Kim has 16 years of dancing experience. She has a passion for teaching children and has an associate’s degree in Early Childhood education. She works full-time at Growing Generations as a childcare teacher. She loves helping each one of her children learn and grow. She looks forward to teaching many more children through her love of dance. 
Kim has been in many ballet productions with lead roles in the Nutcracker, Beauty and the Beast, and Cinderella. She continues her dance education by attending professional workshops so she can bring new and exciting activities to her classes.

Heather has 20 years of experience in many forms of dance. Heather has been in ballet productions with lead roles such as Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast, young Clara in Nutcracker, also Snow Queen and lead Flower in the Nutcracker. Heather loves all forms of dance, but has passion for ballet and tap.

Miranda began her dance training in ballet, and tap at a very young age. After falling in love so quickly her parents decided to widen horizons and enroll her in classes like contemporary, jazz, and hip hop. She was apart of the competition world for 13 years. She graduated from Novi High School where she was a member of the dance company, wehere she focused mainly on different styles of modern. Miranda has formal training at intensives and studios including; Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Millenium Dance Complex LA, EDGE Performing Arts Center, Movement Lifestyle, Broadway Dance Center, Joffrey Ballet, Visceral Dance Studio, Hubbard Street and Lou Conte Dance Studio. She also has had the opportunity to train under many different choreographers including Kevin Iega Jeff, Stephen "tWitch" Boss, David Moore, Nick Pupillo, Meg Paul, Morgan "Mo" Williams, Kyle Hanagami, Matt Steffanina, Ade Obayomi, Lisa Fruchey, Katy Dinklemann and others. At the age of 18 I made the decision to move to Los Angeles, California to pursue my love for dance. Miranda became a member of the dance crew, Collabor8, this gave me the opportunity to perform in shows at World of Dance, Carnival, and Club Jete. Two years ago she brought her passion and experience back to the studio where she grew up, Big City Dance Center in Wixom, Mi as a teacher/choreographer.

Kimberly Casper has over 26 years of dance experience. She started dancing at the age of 5 and never stopped. Ms. Kim studied tap and jazz as a child then moved on to be part of Sheboygan South's State Championship Dance Team throughout high school. After high school she got her dream job of being a UDA Staff Member and had the opportunity to travel the country teaching and judging.
As an adult Ms. Kim has had the pleasure of coaching, judging and choreographing. After college Ms. Kim decided to pursue being a professional ballroom dancer and instructor. She has been doing this for the past 9 years and has loved every minute of it.
She is so excited to have the chance to go back to her roots and teach children and young adults once again. She believes in a work hard play hard mentality in her classes. Each of her classes are filled with sweat, laughter and progress. She looks forward to meeting everyone and getting to be a part of the In Motion Family.

Olivia Honeck has been a member of In Motion Dance Studio since the age of 13. She is trained in classical ballet, jazz, lyrical and contemporary styles of dance. Olivia has competed in the world's largest international ballet competition, Youth American Grand Prix.
She has also attended the Indianapolis School of Ballet's summer intensive program. She plans on going to college to get a Bachelors Degree of Fine Arts in dance performance and choreography. Olivia is super excited to be an faculty at IMDS and cannot wait to inspire others to love dancing.

Kennedy has been dance since she was six years old. She has danced ballet, hip hop, modern contemporary, tap, jazz, and clog. But she is most passionate about clog. Outside of the dance studio she is the president of the Maddison all stars 4-H club, and participates on the Howard's grove soccer team. 
This year will be her second year on the ELITE compation team of senior jazz and third year on the senior clog team. She is very excited to become an assistant coach for the team and help young dances become the best they can be.

Lara Schmitz has a passion for the arts that stemmed from a group of incredible local mentors in the areas of dance, theater, band, and choir as a young child growing up in Sheboygan County. These opportunities led to her continued involvement in high-energy musical review shows into her college years. Currently, she works full time in orthopedic surgery as a physician assistant. She believes that exercise is a potent medicine and enjoys helping other adults achieve their fitness goals by offering POUND classes at In Motion. This unique group fitness class uses Ripstix (weighted drumsticks) and easy-to-follow, heart-pumping choreography to build strength, flexibility and coordination while losing yourself in the music.

A Chicago native, attended Chicago Academy for the Arts where he had the pleasure of studying under Randy Duncan, Guillermo Leyva and Anna Paskvaska.  At 18, he received his first contract with Dance Kaleidoscope and from there he danced with numerous concert companies such as Momenta Dance Company, Joel Hall & Dancers, Chicago Dance Crash, Deeply Rooted adn Eisenhower Dance.  Mo has also been featured on "SYTYCD" Season 10 and was an L.A. Finalist Season 11.  In addition, he has taught for many studios, dance conventions and workshops across the Midwest and is currently on staff at Studio One Dance Company.  Most recently Mo is a co-founder and choreographer for SueMo: A Dance Experience, Milwaukee's newest contemporary dance company.  His choreography credits include Ginuwine, Milwaukee High School for the Arts, Big City Dance Center and Motor City Movement.

Zavinta has over 15 years of dancing experience from Eastern Europe - Lithuania. She is disciplined and brings energy and passion into every aspect of her life, especially dance. Throughout her dance career, Zavinta experienced numerous types of dancing including ballet, modern contemporary, rhythmic gymnastics, sports aerobics, and hip-hop. She participated in regional and national competitions in Lithuania and won 1st and 2nd place awards for rhythmic gymnastics and team sports aerobics. “I am thrilled to have this opportunity, not only to teach, but to share my enthusiasm for dance with young ladies!”
